Who we are

What we collect

We collect only what you give us, and basic technical data:

• Contact form: your name, work email, company, and the message you write. Fields are limited to what we need to reply.
• Email: anything you send to info@search-value.com, including your address and attachments.
• Technical data: your browser and device type and pages visited, as recorded in our hosting provider's server logs.
• Analytics, only if you accept: if you choose Accept on our cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure which pages are viewed, how visitors reach the site, device and browser type, approximate location (country and city level) and actions such as opening a question or sending a form. We do not combine this with your name or email.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a pipeline review or proposal you asked for, to keep records of our dealings with you, and to keep the site secure and working. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Who processes it

Contact form submissions are received through Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), our form-handling provider, and delivered to our email. The site is served by our hosting provider. Google LLC provides Google Analytics and processes analytics data only if you accept analytics cookies. These providers process data only to deliver their service to us. Data may therefore be stored or processed outside India, including in the United States.

Legal basis and retention

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests (answering business enquiries you send us) and, for analytics cookies, your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. We keep enquiry records for as long as the conversation or business relationship lasts and a reasonable period after, then delete them. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. You can ask for earlier deletion.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may also seek grievance redressal. Email info@search-value.com and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect data. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
